Puerto Calero
Lanzarote Frontline Villas are just a short stroll away from the Marina of Puerto Calero. The Marina was originally opened in 1989 and has grown to accommodate 450 berths, welcoming some of the world’s most luxurious super yachts over the years.
The Marina offers a unique village-like atmosphere. Along the waterfront, you will find a vibrant selection of cafés, bars, and restaurants - perfect for relaxing as you take in the ocean air. Sit back and enjoy the view of boats drifting in and out, accompanied by the soothing sound of masts gently clinking in the breeze.
There is also a small supermarket and a nearby gift shop stocked with a range of souvenirs to take home. For a larger shopping, a brand-new supermarket has recently opened in the centre of Puerto Calero.
For those eager to explore beyond the Marina, several fantastic excursions are available. Catlanza cruises depart daily for the stunning bay of Papagayo in the south of Lanzarote. You can also embark on a Submarine Safari or choose from a variety of fishing trips offered by local boats.
Nature lovers will enjoy the scenic clifftop walks heading out from Puerto Calero in both directions. Heading west, you’ll reach the charming village Playa Quemada. The route offers breathtaking views, and once there, can have a meal at one of the lovely fresh fish restaurants before making your way back.
To the east, the cliffs lead towards Puerto del Carmen. If you don’t feel like walking, a convenient water taxi runs regularly throughout the day, giving you a slightly different view of the coastline.
