TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Frontline Villa 25 and Frontline Villa 26 in Puerto Calero, Lanzarote are owned by Gabriela and Peter Tanner and the terms and conditions of booking below are legally binding between us and the main guest listed in the contract. These are the booking conditions on which we provide our services to you. Please read this document carefully.
BOOKING:
After the agreement of the reservation, the owner will prepare the contract, which will be sent to you by email. The contract includes the amount of the deposit payment. It is usually 20% of the agreed rent. The deposit is deducted from your final payment.
The deposit must be sent according to the instructions in the contract within 3 days of sending the contract. After we have received the deposit payment, your reservation will be confirmed.
PAYMENT:
At the time of booking a non-refundable deposit payment must be made within 3 days. The final payment must be made, at the latest, 8 weeks before the scheduled check-in date. If the booking is made less than 8 weeks before the check-in date, the full rent is due at the time of booking. If you do not pay the reservation deposit and/or the final payment, we will send you a reminder by email. If the payment is not made within 3 days of the due date, we will assume that you wish to cancel your booking and the rental contract will become void.
CANCELLATIONS:
If you need to cancel your reservation, please inform us immediately in writing. The following cancellation fees apply.
If cancelled more than 8 weeks before the scheduled check-in date, the deposit is non-refundable.
If cancelled less than 8 weeks before the scheduled check-in date, the full rent payment is non-refundable.
INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend that each guest takes out comprehensive travel insurance that covers flight delays and cancellation, liability and medical costs.
LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE:
Please note that any damage to the property or its contents during your stay will have to be paid for. We understand that accidents can happen, but we ask that you inform us of any issues as soon as possible so that we can address them. The person whose name is written on the contract assumes full responsibility for any other guests staying in the villa.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is before 10:00 am. If you would like to check in/out earlier/later, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We will inform you 24 hours before the scheduled check-in/check-out time as to whether this will be possible.
AIR CONDITIONER:
Air conditioners are metered and require a 1 euro coin or a 2 euro coin. We would like to ask you to use the air conditioning wisely and not to keep doors and windows open while the air conditioners are on - this not only damages our environment, but can also cause leaking.
SWIMMING POOL:
The pool has salt water and is heated by an electric heater in colder months. If you would like to use the heater outside of this period, we can turn it on but you will be charged 20 euros per day. In addition, the swimming pool has a solar pool cover which warms up the water year round using the sun's natural energy. Removing it from the pool reduces the water temperature significantly.
THE NUMBER OF GUESTS:
The number of guests using the accommodation cannot exceed the number of the guests specified on the contract. No other people may stay in the villa unless this has been approved by the owners. The main guest written on the contract assumes full responsibility for all guests. In case of violation of the agreement, the owner has the right to terminate the contract immediately and to demand that the guests leave the villa.
EXTENSION OF YOUR STAY:
If you would like to extend your stay with us beyond the agreed date on the contract, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. If we agree to your request for an extension, you will have to pay the additional rent before the date indicated on the new contract.
NOISE LEVEL:
No parties or events are allowed on the property. We ask all guests to be considerate and respectful of the property's neighbours. Please note that the villas are located in a residential area. If music is played, we ask that it be kept to an acceptable volume.
If we are required to attend the accommodation due to reports of excessive noise or unreasonable or inconsiderate behavior, a call fee of 100 euros must be paid immediately. While we want our guests to enjoy their holiday, it cannot be at the expense of our neighbours.
The same rules apply to all other villas. If noise levels from the other villas are too high, please contact us and we will report the problem.
MINORS:
All guests under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult. Please note that the pool is not fenced and children must always be supervised in the pool area. For your own safety, diving is prohibited.
CARE AND CAUTION:
Be especially careful in bathrooms where the floors can be wet and slippery. Do not touch electrical appliances with wet hands. Report any electrical faults as soon as possible.
All guests agree to maintain the property and all its furniture in a good condition. The guest named on the contract is responsible for all members of the party and is also responsible for all costs associated with replacing any damaged or broken items and for any necessary repairs or additional cleaning costs.
Any damages or breakages must be reported to the owner as soon as they have occurred and before the guests leave.
The owner or their representative may need to enter the property at any time during your stay to inspect and carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance. We will try to arrange this at a time that suits you and with as much notice as possible.
No pets are allowed in the building or on the property. If any evidence of pets being in the property is found during your stay, you will be charged a fee of 100 euros to cover cleaning costs.
CONCLUSION:
The terms and conditions will automatically terminate when you leave the property on the check-out date agreed in the contract. This contract is not a short-term rental contract, but only a holiday rental contract, and no lessor-lessee relationship is created.
COVID-19:
If Lanzarote goes into lockdown, we will refund the booking deposit and final payment excluding any potential bank fees. If you decide to cancel your stay in the absence of a national lockdown, we will not refund your money.
